Ever wonder how a green roof is created? The folks at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden have posted this amazing time-lapse video of their new visitor center. In two minutes, you can watch 40,000 plants, including grasses, bulbs, and perennial wildflowers, being installed on the 10,000-square-foot roof. We can't wait for the  environmentally sustainable visitor center to open on May 16, 2012. bbg.org
